A luxury boat tour on Lake Como aboard the iconic Riva Tritone
Step aboard Engfal’s II and relive the timeless elegance of the 1950s. Built in 1954, this iconic Riva Tritone quickly became the symbol of sophistication and perfection, celebrated as the most successful model in Riva’s history, with just over 200 units produced until 1966.
Tritone No. 11, completed in 1955, may be regarded as the first of its kind, as the models built prior to 1954 were designated BQ. Originally christened “Engalf’s II,” it was owned by illustrious figures in Italian football history before being found years later, abandoned in a field and reduced to an empty hull.
Faced with this silent shell, Erio Matteri embraced the challenge of bringing it back to life, undertaking a meticulous and painstaking restoration that faithfully returned the vessel to its original splendour and authenticity. It was also the first Riva Tritone to operate a chauffeur-driven transport service with a dedicated commander available for rental.
Today, Engalfs II boasts the largest number of photographic services in the world. It has starred in publicity spots and famous films, and has carried well-known celebrities. Climbing aboard is not a simple jaunt; it is an experience to be cherished in your memories with Lake Como as its backdrop.
