SUPER AQUARAMA Boat

A private luxury boat tour aboard an enduring icon on Lake Como

The legend of the Super Aquarama n°12 “Alma” began in November 1962, inspired by “Cinerama,” the experimental widescreen cinematography developed in the United States. From the moment it was introduced, it became the ultimate symbol of Riva itself, a brand within a brand. The Super Aquarama represented the evolution and ultimate expression of an icon that had already captured the world’s imagination. Only 203 boats were ever built, and “Alma” was the twelfth in production order. Its name is also an acronym formed from the names of Paola and Erio’s two eldest daughters, Alessia and Maddalena.

Once owned by Moroccan royalty, Alma arrived from the southern coast of Spain and was later transported to the Matteri shipyard on Lake Como in a severely deteriorated condition. There, it underwent a long and meticulous restoration. Today, more than half a century later, the legend lives on in the waters of Lake Como, embodying the same spirit of “Sun, Lake, and Passion for Life.”
